I Have Decided

When I was young,  I was a Biblical expert.

In my 20's, I had a perfect Theological answer for every question.

Going to Bible College, I loved correcting my Bible teachers after class.

Since then, life has humbled me.

Things don't fit in the nice theological boxes like they once did.

However, one thing I know for certain.

It's what the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 2:2.

"For I have decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified."

Well, if that is what Paul decided then I believe I should as well.

I am making the same decision as Paul.

I will know nothing but Jesus and His Cross.

My father made that decision many years ago, himself.

And now I choose to follow his lead.
