His Body

As I lay in this hospital bed (yet again)...

I am reminded why we, the Church, are called

The Body of Christ.

For as I have been hospitalized:

Jesus has prayed for me.

And made me smile.

And comforted me.

Jesus has sat by my hospital bed.

And prayed for me while I was being wheeled into surgery.

Jesus has watched over my wife and daughters back home.

He even mowed my yard!

He has done these things (and countless others)...

Through my brothers and sisters in Him...

He has done so through His Body.
