You Are Not Alone

Another night in the hospital bed.

It's becoming home away from home.

My pops and my wife would stop in and sit down.

And there were many hours I was by myself.

I listened to chatter outside my door.

I opened my Bible and read.

I looked out the window and I prayed.

I was at perfect peace.

For I was by myself.  But I was not alone.

And neither are you.

You may feel you have been abandoned.

Or that no one is around when you need them most.

But you...you are not alone.

"At my first defense, no one stood by me.  All had forsaken me.

But the Lord stood by me."  Paul,  2 Timothy 4:18.
